Fullmer Menagerie Animal Rescue

So the last little while, the t.v. has been running a lot of commercials about the Humane Society. I have to change the channel EVERY time because I want to call them and send them my entire life savings to save the sad cats and dogs that have been abused/neglegted/etc. Then they tell you that for only x amount of dollars you can help this poor innocent animals.... Anyway, you always wonder where your money really goes when you send it to people like that. So I decided that I wanted to support someone in the community that you actually know and that you know your money is not going to waste.

The Menagerie is an AWESOME place right here in Salina that not only houses animals and helps them get adopted, but owners Jeannine & Lyle Fullmer also travel to take and pick up animals that are being adopted so the adoptees don't have to! It's an amazing operation and I just had to put a shout out to them on my blog.

I will also be putting up weekly 'spotlights' of certain animals. Just so you can get a look at what they are doing and, hopefully, go in and adopt one of them!

This week, I absolutely fell in LOVE with this guy:

Arthur

Come to my round table! I am Arthur (King Arthur to most!) and I am looking for another Horn Bill Goose to be my queen. My adoption fee is only $40.00 so take me home today!

Click on my title link to learn more about Arthur and to see more information on the Menagerie and the other animals available for adoption.

Ash, I never knew this place excited until we went for a preschool field trip this year. It is really a neat thing that they do! Way to give them a shout out!
