Spotlight on Pal & some random happenings with the Erdei's

This is Pal! He is an Austrailian Shepard/ Red heeler mix. The family that owned him dropped him off at the Menagerie without anyone knowing! They put him in a kennel with all of the big dogs and just left! He was very scared.
Lyle is teaching him to be a cattle dog. They think that he is going to be a little bit bigger than a regular cattle dog because they think he has a bigger breed of dog in him.

If you would like to adopt Pal, click on the link HERE to find out more about him! (I'm pretty sure you need him mom.... I'll talk more about it with dad :)

And a side note, I was able to visit the menagerie for the first time the other day. Lyle and Jeannine weren't there, so I didn't get out of my car. (I really didn't want to disturb the animals) But they have an AWESOME operation going on up there! There were lots of geese and ducks wandering around and they looked so cute! I talked to Jeannine later and she told me that they are 'rival gangs'. Sweet! I can't remember what she told me the names of their 'gangs' were, but it was too funny.

I feel bad because I was really getting into this posting on the animals, and then I just kinda dropped off the face of the earth for a while. The bad news is that Breagan has had a HORRIBLE 2 weeks. First she had a small cold and a B I G fever of 103+. We get really scared at our house about fevers because that's how Hailey lost her hearing. So on the Sunday of the Super Bowl, after 3 days of not being able to get the fever down, we were off to the ER. They gave us some decongestant and told us everything was fine. So she kind of got over that, but still hasn't been the greatest. There has been very little sleep at our house and lots of crying. (Most of it by Breagan, but a little by me to)
The good news is that after all that, we finally have Breag's first tooth!! YAY! It's about time!

But, this to shall pass. I just have to
'Keep calm and carry on'
(my new favorite saying! :)

Oh no! I'm sorry Breagan has been sick. That is no fun at all!!! Hope she's feeling better now.

Beware about her tooth now too--those babies are sharp! Laynie loves biting my shoulder. She thinks she's playing, but it hurts!
